David was born in Perth, Western Australia, and has lived in Busselton, the Swan Valley, Perth Hills, inner Perth, and now resides in one of the northern coastal suburbs.
Wendy was born in London and moved to Perth where she married David after meeting in London. This was over 21 years ago and they now have twin teenage daughters.
The family have a love for exploring the world and their own “backyard”. Over the years, they have extensively travelled around Western Australia and are always looking at new things to do in Perth and surrounds.
Wendy originally started Perthtravelers as a way of documenting their family travels and as an outlet for her passion for travel and seeing the world. Then the pandemic hit and their family spent two years seeing more of Western Australia.
Western Australia Expert was born as Wendy fell even more in love with her home state and wanted to share this with the rest of the world.
Wendy hopes that she can inspire her readers to visit Western Australia and provide all the information they need to travel there, with guides on all the best things to do, regions to explore, places to eat & drink, and epic road trips.
If you would like to work with Western Australia Expert, please send Wendy an email.
