During these months you’ll get:

For most travellers, May to September is the sweet spot.

☀️ Dry Season: April to October (BEST TIME TO GO)

This is the ideal time to visit the Coral Coast.

  • Road trips

🔥 Hot / Wet Season: November to March (NOT IDEAL)

This period is much more challenging.

What to expect:

  • Extreme heat (often 40°C+)
  • Strong winds and rough seas
  • Reduced snorkelling visibility
  • Less comfortable driving conditions

While some travellers still visit, this is not recommended for most people, especially families.
