Tegwan’s Nest, situated on thirteen acres, has breathtaking views of the valley. The guest accommodation has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and fully equipped laundry.
You don’t have to worry about the weather with a log fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, evaporative air conditioning, electric blankets, underfloor insulation, and ceiling fans.
Tea and coffee are included, with a Lavazza coffee machine and pure rainwater to drink and shower in. You can also help yourselves to fruit in the orchard in season!
As you are on a farm, there is open water around the property, so child supervision is required.
Free unlimited NBN broadband is available and 4G mobile phone access is excellent. However, there is no TV reception, but an assortment of DVD’s and an HDMI cable.

Balingup Jalbrook Cottages, Jalbrook Estate
Jalbrook Cottages consist of six deluxe rammed earth cottages set amongst private gardens. Four of them are adults-only with hot tubs, king beds, log fires, large day beds and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Red Robin is a two-bedroom cottage, perfect for two couples with queen beds in both bedrooms, and a hot tub spa on the deck.
Blue Wren, another two-bedroom cottage, is ideal for families with a queen-sized bed, two king-sized singles, and a sofa bed.
Electric blankets, spa robes & towels are included, along with a breakfast basket for the first morning with homemade bread, fresh milk, free-range eggs, and local produce in season.
Blackwood Inn Innkeepers House
Blackwood Inn Innkeepers House, a luxury adults-only retreat, is set in the hamlet of Mullalyup. The rooms are spacious and feature lounge areas, gas log fires, mood lighting, and a two-person spa bath. Fresh milk is in the fridge along with a selection of Robert Timms coffees and a variety of Twining’s teas.
Breakfast is included which consists of fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast, or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

Birdwood Park Estate Farm Stay
We stayed at Birdwood Park Estate Farm Stay, a rustic 3-bedroom American-style barn house set on a 17-acre hobby farm bound by Balingup Brook on three sides and the Avenue of Honour on the fourth. The property has a wood burner to keep you warm in the winter and a fully equipped kitchen. The views of the surrounding rolling hills are beautiful, and the farm stay is a perfect base from which to explore Balingup and surrounds.
Our daughters loved the friendly goats, and the fresh bread, cereal, and fruit was a wonderful bonus. The accommodation is pet friendly too.
We booked through Stayz as they were cheaper than Airbnb.
The Pavilion Cottage, Brook Vale House
Pavilion Cottage has its own private garden, situated on a 120-year-old property surrounded by mature European trees. This Balingup accommodation is pet-friendly, allowing up to two small dogs. However, if you have two large dogs, please contact the owners to discuss. Your dogs are allowed indoors and there is no extra fee.
The property also has a one-bedroom cottage complete with a fireplace and fully equipped kitchen.
