Eagle Bay Brewery is one of the best breweries in Margaret River. It’s located in Eagle Bay on the Cape Naturaliste Peninsula, less than 7km from Dunsborough in Australia’s South West.
We enjoy going there as it is family owned and operated and has been in the d’Espeissis family since 1950. The farm not only has a microbrewery but a vineyard and restaurant.

Eagle Bay Brewery Information
Eagle Bay Brewery Opening Hours
They are open every day from 11 am to 4.30 pm.
Eagle Bay Brewing Co Beers
All the beers are made in small batches with only four ingredients; freshly harvested rainwater, malted barley, yeast, and hops.
The main selection of beers consists of a Kolsch, Amber Ale, Pale Ale, Lager, India Pale Lager, and a black IPA.
Added to these are seasonal specials like the Nut Brown Ale and the Cacao Stout (I like the sound of this one).
The Beer Tasting Tray comes with 6 beers, each of 100 ml for $16.

Eagle Bay Vineyard
For those of you that don’t like beer, you can also do wine tasting and purchase it by the glass or bottle.

The white wine list includes Semillon, Chardonnay and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc. The reds are Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon and they also do a range of bubbles and a Rose.
I, personally, like the Semillon and Chardonnay.
If you like any of these wines, make sure to buy some before you leave as they are only available at the cellar door or online.

Eagle Bay Brewery Restaurant & Menu
The restaurant is in a picturesque location overlooking the farmland and Cape Naturaliste. You have the choice of inside or outdoor seating but we like to sit outside if the weather permits.
The menu always contains a lot of local, fresh produce with plenty of options for sharing plates as well as pizzas and mains.
An up to date menu can be found on the Eagle Bay Brewing website.
Although they welcome walk in’s, I would recommend reserving a table as it is very popular and can get booked out, especially in peak season.

Playground at Eagle Bay Brewery
There’s a small playground for the children and large grassed areas for them to play.
Our Thoughts on Eagle Bay Brewery
It’s relaxing sitting outside with a beer or wine, taking in the beautiful views over the lake. We usually share a pizza or two for lunch but the rest of the menu looks delicious. The service is very good and friendly.
Even though I enjoy a beer, I do like the option to be able to have wine if I feel like it.

This sounds like the perfect place for our family. My husband and stepsons love craft beer, and brew their own. I can’t stand the stuff myself but I do like my wine. Eagle Bay would satisfy all of us very nicely! Definitely taking some notes here 🙂
It’s nice to relax having a drink and take in the beautiful views 🙂
We enjoy wine, beer, and bourbon tastings in a relaxing atmosphere. This sounds like our kind of place. Thanks for sharing.
I’m sure you’d love it there then Michele.
Love this! A brewery and a vineyard! we are in heaven! Cant wait to tour WA one day and visit here!
Loving your pics and also your redesigned website! Gorgeous!
Thank you so much! Hope you make it over one day 🙂
Mmm. Love a good beer and wine tasting! the decor of the brewery is lovely. And that door 👌🏼
You can’t go wrong with a cute door 🙂
This looks like my kind of place! I love sitting outside in the countryside admiring the views while sipping on a glass of wine or a good beer! Used to do it a lot more when we lived in the U.S. and I miss it now that we’re in Hong Kong. Putting this on my list for a visit to WA.
I’m sure HK has equally beautiful views, just different 🙂
Looks like a great place to visit and have a few beers. I have to say though, I was a little confused at the concept of a black IPA – how very bizarre!
We have some weird concoctions here lol
